Georgetown: Two men found dead in SUV


KUCHING, (MLP) - Two men were found dead in a sport utility vehicle (SUV) parked at a petrol station in rest and recreation (R & R) Auditor to the South, yesterday.

Body Ong See Cheng, 39, and remains Rizuan Ismail, 39, was found by gas station customers at 7:30 pm and told employees the petrol station.

According to news reports Astro Awani, Penang police chief Datuk Abdul Rahim Hanafi said Ong, who hails from Malacca was the driver of the vehicle while Rizuan is originally from Kedah.

The petrol station employee who thought the two men were sleeping surprise the two men tried to knock on car windows. As there is no response and the door locked from the inside, he then contacted the emergency line. Fire and Rescue Team to come and verify both dead.

He said that when he discovered the engine was still alive and the findings of the police forensics unit found no traces of injuries on both bodies.

Initial investigations revealed that the two men were working as contractors.

So far, the case was classified as sudden death. The body was sent to the Seberang Jaya Hospital for autopsy.

OCPD Central Seberang Perai (SPT) ACP Rusli Mohd Noor said the results of post-mortem showed the cause of death was due to carbon monoxide pollution.
